May
King Salmon – Kenai River, Kasilof River, Ninilchik River, Deep Creek and the Offshore Fishery in Cook Inlet
Halibut – Cook Inlet (Combo King Salmon/Halibut Charters)

June
King Salmon – Kenai River, Kasilof River, Ninilchik River, Deep Creek and Fly-outs to the Chuit River. 
Sockeye Salmon – Upper Kenai River, Russian River (June 15-June 30) and Wolverine Creek Fly-outs 
Halibut – Cook Inlet
Rainbow Trout/Dolly Varden – Upper Kenai River (June15th)

July
King Salmon – Kenai and Kasilof Rivers
Sockeye Salmon  - Kenai River, Kasilof River, Russian River, and Fly-outs
Silver Salmon – Kenai River and Kasilof River (last week of July), Fly-outs
Halibut – Cook Inlet

 King Salmon (Chinook) – May, June and July

 Kenai River King Salmon - $275.00 - Full day Charter

 Kasilof River King Salmon - $265.00 – Full Day Charter

 

Silver Salmon (Coho) – August and September

Kenai River Silver Salmon Fishing – $225.00

 

Red Salmon (Sockeye) – June, July and August

Kenai River Sockeye (Red Salmon) Fishing – $225.00

 

Trophy Trout – June, July and August

Kenai River Trophy Rainbow Trout/Dollys and Silvers – $275.00

 

Offshore/Saltwater Charters

 Cook Inlet Halibut fishing - $250.00 full day

Kachemak Bay Halibut/Salmon Combo - $300 full day

Kachemak Bay Halibut/Salmon/Rockfish Combo - $360 full day

 

Fly-Out Guided Fishing and Bear Viewing

Fly-out Trips starting at $345

All prices are per person. Prices may vary due to peak seasons and number in your party.   All Fishing trips include all fishing gear while guided (rods, reels, bait, etc…) and experienced captain and crews . Call for special rates that are offered at times.


Limit Regulations on the Kenai Peninsula

Five (5) king salmon: Two(2) on the Kenai River and three (3) elsewhere on the Peninsula's rivers or ocean, but only one (1) king salmon per day. Two (2) halibut daily. Three (3) sockeye salmon and six(6) pink salmon per day. Two (2) silver salmon daily. You can leave Alaska with all of your fish.

The Kenai River is closed on Sunday and Monday to guided fishing in the months of May, June, and July.

Children under the age of 16 are free, and only need a locally obtained harvest permit to fish.  Go to http://www.admin.adfg.state.ak.us/license/ to purchase your fishing licenses ahead of time or buy them in Soldotna when you arrive.
